How Often?

• Window/Portable: Every 2 weeks
• Mini-Split: Every 2-4 weeks
• Central 1-inch: Monthly
• Central 4-inch: Every 3-6 months

Cleaning a Reusable Filter

1. Turn off AC
2. Remove filter
3. Vacuum with brush attachment
4. Rinse under lukewarm water
5. Air dry 2-3 hours
6. Reinstall

When to Replace

Torn, warped, or clogged beyond cleaning. MERV 8-11 is the sweet spot.

Signs Filter Needs Attention

• Reduced airflow
• Longer cycles
• Visible dust
• Musty smell
